TERMS & CONDITIONS


Thank you for making your Alaska vacation plans with GoingToAlaska.com.

 

RESERVATIONS

The information you provide helps us process your reservation request quickly and get the final confirmation of services back to you as soon as possible. The more detailed the information you provide for day tours/excursions, the better. If for any reason, we are unable to confirm your reservation as requested, we may suggest an alternative tour for your approval.

 

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION

Providing Credit Card information is safe and secure. The reservation check out is processed through SSL (secure socket layer) which prevents anyone else from accessing this information.  All reservations require a minimum deposit of 50% of your total price up to 60 days in advance.  Reservations requested under 60 days will require full payment on confirmation. Your credit card will not actually be charged until we are able to confirm your reservations. When your tour is confirmed we will send you a confirmation invoice via e-mail.

 

Last minute reservations:  We will make every effort to fulfill last minute requests. However, reservations made less than 30 days prior to the first date of service cannot be processed without advance payment for the full amount of the tour. Once booked, all last minute reservations are final and non-refundable.

 

FINAL PAYMENT is due 60 days prior to travel. A reminder will be e-mailed to you automatically 5 to 7 days prior to the due date. For reservations made within 60 days of your travel start date, payment in FULL is required upon confirmation of services.

 

CHANGE FEE POLICY

Once confirmed and invoiced, any changes to existing reservations are subject to an administrative fee, plus any applicable cancellation fees charged by vendors.  This includes a change of dates.  All requests for changes must be received in writing. The following administrative fees will apply.  You will also be notified if any cancellation fees will be applied, as charged by our vendors.

One Day Tours/ Hotel Reservations (pre-occurrence) $10 each change

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellation requests must be received in writing. If you are concerned about canceling or interrupting your vacation due to events out of your control, please look into our Travel Insurance options.

 

The following is our typical cancellation fees schedule, which is based on a percentage of the total invoice. The effective date is the date on which the written cancellation notice is received in our office by fax or e-mail. The cancellation terms for bear viewing, lodge stays, and Iditarod tours may vary from the below terms. Please see the specific webpage for these tours for more information.

 

Any time after our written confirmation:  10% of invoice total

60 - 45 days prior to departure:   30% of invoice total

44 - 30 days prior to departure:   60% of invoice total

Within 30 days:   100% of invoice total

DOCUMENTATION

Upon receipt of final payment, you will receive your travel documents a minimum of 2 weeks prior to you arrival, with few exceptions.  Your travel documents will be e-mailed to you. Once issued you can also access your vouchers from your account.  

 

RESPONSIBILITY

All Alaska Tours, Inc. dba AlaskaTours.com and its affiliated entities and its employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, agents, and assigns, neither own nor operate any person or entity which is to, or does, provide goods or services for these trips or tours.  Because All Alaska Tours, Inc. dba AlaskaTours.com assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of (1) any wrongful, negligent, willful, or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any of the tour suppliers, or other employees agents, (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, instrument owned, operated or otherwise by any of these suppliers, or (3) any wrongful, willful, or negligent act or omissions on any part of any other party not under the supervision or control of the Operator.

 

Act of GOD/Force Majeure

All Alaska Tours, Inc. dba AlaskaTours.com and/or its suppliers cannot assume liability for any loss, damage or injury of any nature resulting from an Act of God or any other force majeure (arrangements in any way because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control). These can include, for example, war, riot, labor strike dispute, terrorist activity and its consequences, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, or adverse weather conditions.  We highly recommend offering travel insurance protection to clients.

 

PRICES

Prices and information are subject to change by the suppliers without prior notice! Whenever possible changes to programs, errors or rates after publication are posted on our website.  Once reservations are confirmed prices are guaranteed.
